We asked inspiring website The Coveteur (
www.thecoveteur.com) to photograph our obsessions: front row regulars with their own inimitable style. We were curious
as to how they edit their fashion week wardrobe – and what they pack in their suitcases to survive the frenzy of the the front row.
Images and introduction by The Coveteur for Self Service magazine.
In the first round of our suitcase snooping series, we peep inside the wardrobe of Gaia Repossi – the industry fave jewelry designer from Paris. We browse through Repossi’s fashion week essentials
to find out her go-to items and see how she packs for back-to-back fashion weeks across the globe. We dug deep into her luggage to see her necessities and non-negotiable goods, which included
an assortment of Céline, a palette of prints and a collection of cosmetic essentials. Happy snooping!
I find organic products in NYC rose water and Be oils from my Organic facialist.
The minimum make up: foundation also on my lips and beige blush from Chanel for the neutral base that I find chic.
I add eyebrow dark brown pencil. Margiela Perfume.
Celine Fall/Winter sweater, my favorite. Céline black leather skirt from past collection. Pre-fall Céline pumps.
Tiny Céline black bag I use at night instead of clutch (clutch is only for very elegant occasion to me).
I don’t keep my shoes in a bathtub in general! Balenciaga pumps, sandals and booties from past collections.
Céline delicate pumps and sandals and Prada last resort black stilettos.
At The Standard hotel the dressings are small so I put a rack in the bathroom. On the rack: my favorite resort flower Céline jackets,
some shirts I’m addicted to and the Balenciaga printed Resort top that is like a kimono. Also some black tuxedo and cigarette pants
and coats: a wide wool kimono/robe from Christophe Lemaire and a Céline beige coat. No furs this season.
I can’t leave the house without these. I need to read for intellectual stimulus. Writings of Picasso Propos sur l’Art, quotes from
interviews and biographies. Picasso was my revelation to painting. I read in French because of my studies. It’s faster reading.
Louise Bourgeois written by Ulf Kuster I bought for my boyfriend. In that picture she’s content. My phone: I have two here.
A mint scented candle. A Rauschenberg photography book.
THE HAND LUGGAGE
This is what I carry on the plane: A bag and a Céline tote. Christophe Lemaire ballerinas and Céline turtleshade sunglasses.
An Alexander Wang cashmere hat.I ship my luggage so I have a minimal packaging. When I take trips I always pack light.
It makes me somehow feel free.
My older collection Balenciaga linen crème skirt suit. It looks like a tight kimono. It’s so modern. My two Christophe Lemaire
ballerinas with the summer wedge pair too (right pair). My work days mean flats. At the office it’s just me, my team and my mind.
